We bought this caravan two years ago for a staycation plan. It was pretty much in its original 1984 condition. The German made Buccaneer caravans are built to last and this one is in great condition for its age.
We’ve enjoyed putting in a lot of time doing it up and have spent over £2000 on improvements and replacing various items. Most of which were done last spring. The avocado shower/toilet is the only part we didn’t get around to yet. It’s a really comfy and cosy caravan to travel in and also comes in handy as a guest bedroom and as a home office. The main seating area converts to a king size bed and also works perfectly as two singles. The seating at the back can be used as a single bed or bunk beds.
We repainted all the cupboards, wallpapered it with beach hut style wallpaper, and replaced the old carpet with vinyl flooring and a fluffy rug. We replaced the curtains with custom made…
