1989 Swift Silhouette 2 berth caravan.Spares or repair. The good bits:It is lightweight – 644kg unladen and tows really well.Mechanically it is in good condition.Electricals and plumbing are also in good working order.Thetford Cassette toilet fitted.Soft furnishings are in good order for age.Tow ball lock included. The original oven/hob has been replaced with a new full size oven/hob that has never been used. The not so good bits:Unfortunately, water ingress has caused water damage to the timber frame and wall panels on one side of the van. I have partially stripped out the problem areas to expose and remove some of the rotten timber. I have retained all fittings, shower, sink etc so they can be refitted. The floor in the kitchen area has delaminated (easy fix with a kit off eBay).I’ve included photos to show the extent of the damp so hopefully no nasty surprises. This would be a good project or donor van. The materials needed to repair are relatively inexpensive and readily available at DIY stores or on the internet.I’m also selling the awning for this caravan on a separate eBay listing It is a Dorema Calypso Size 5 750-775cm with two double bed sized annexes.Any questions then please message me.Collection only. LE12 area.Cash on collection.
