The other issue is the gas heater which need looking at we have not used the fire but it did light and heat but went out after a few seconds once released. I looked at the heater and believe it needs servicing and 2 small pipes replacing they are known to corode inside. The blow air side of the heating is working fine. We just used a fan heater.
