It is time to rehome Gregory, my fab little touring caravan, as the work needed to get back on the road is beyond my capabilities. Please see below for a list of work that I know needs done (there may be additional work, this is only the repairs required that I know of; viewing before bidding is therefore advised). Good points:When I last used the caravan about six years ago; The oven, grill, and hobs all worked fine. The fridge worked fine on gas (I never used it on electricity so don’t know if this works). The gas heater worked fine. The kitchen and bathroom taps both worked fine.The strip lights worked fine on battery.The 240v 3-pin plugs worked fine on mains hook-up.Window stays function fine.the porta-loo worked fine :)Not-so-good points:Tyres all need replaced.Rear road lights don’t work, need rewired.A previous repair to the rear o/s leaked again (but hopefully the latest repair has resolved the issue!).The two narrower front windows are missing the bottom latch (but both side latches work fine so this has never bothered me).Water ingress in the front gas locker has made the locker damp, and one of the gas bottle slots is giving way. Battery didn’t trickle-charge when on hook-up. Welcome to early eighties caravanning…no hot water taps! General condition of bodywork showing its age, areas of alu-degradation particularly on the sides. Spotlights at front seating area don’t seem to work.One of the steadies no longer tightens (replacement steady included, see photos), another is tight, probably needs greased?Gas system needs tested and hoses in…
