I purchased this caravan following a house purchase falling through. It kept me warm, dry and alive. The caravan had some damp when I bought it. I stripped it bare to the foam insulation. Sorted all of the water ingress out then re-plied all of the interior walls that required attention. I’m not a carpenter but I did the best I could within a limited timescale. The insulation consists of foam board, home cavity insulation and expanding foam around the joints. I wouldn’t consider the work I’ve done to be professional, but it’s certainly good enough to go forward with. Your buying a blank canvas to do what you want with, which is a rare opportunity. The ply I used was brand new from Wickes and cost me £200. The caravan has no gas or appliances, but it will come with an electric hook up. I became very fond of the caravan. I was happy living in it for 6 weeks. It’s big for a 2 berth.Don’t expect perfection. But do expect bags of potential.The floor is better than most caravans with only a slight bounce near the entrance due to age and usage. There are areas which were obviously damp in the past.
