Challenger 500SE, Fixed Bed Caravan – Manufactured 1999 – Lightweight
This was
advertised for sale, but unfortunately an area of damp in the floor underneath
the rear fixed bed was found. Looks like the external locker seal has gone.
It is therefore
being sold for spares or repair, which seems a shame as all-in-all it’s in good
knick for its age. Starting price £500, with no reserve… I will let the market decide what she’s worth.

It’s a four
berth van, and is relatively lightweight with a Mass In Running Order (MIRO) of 1042kg, and a Maximum
Authorised Mass (MAM) of 1300kg, so you don’t need to have a category B+E
license if you passed your test after Jan 1997 and it’s towed with a suitable
vehicle.
Good points:
– – The
chassis is in good condition. It has an AL-KO AKS1300 stabiliser.
– – It
has three unmarked alloy wheels (one spare) all of which had brand new tyres
before our last trip in it. The spare is unused.
– – It
has a working motor mover fitted.
