We’ve owned this lovely little 2-berth tourer for more than eight years, but it must go now as we’re shortly to move house.Light and easy to tow and handle, the caravan has all the usual features which make for comfortable living even when ‘wild camping’ off grid.When you’re on site, the mains 240v hook-up will power lights, fridge, water heater and the Truma warm-air heater, which has outlets throughout the caravan.The lights, fridge, toilet flush, shower and radio/CD can be powered by the onboard high-capacity leisure battery, recharged when on the move (if you have the correct car socket), and everything else by gas when parked up for the night.For proper home-cooked meals, there’s a four-burner gas cooker with a separate grill and large oven. Plus hot & cold running water for the washing-up!The built-in charger tops the battery up when connected to the mains, so the 12v is always there when you need it.It is the 480SE model, built in 2002 – more than twenty years old and showing only a few signs of its age. There is the odd scuff here and there, and the double-glazed windows have slight visible crazing, which doesn’t detract from their performance.The caravan will be ready for you to enjoy right away, and comes complete with a 15KG gas bottle (acquired during lockdown when there was a shortage), and a full 7KG bottle as well.The bits & pieces that are in the van include a pair of universal towing mirrors, so that you…
