Offered for sale is our treasured Swift Challenger 470SE outfit. We have had this for 5 or 6 years and it has had very light use. We had a motor mover fitted in 2015 and at the same time had it professionally serviced. Since then it has had about 3 outings and the motor mover has travelled less than 100m. It is in excellent condition and any inspection is welcome. Obviously it has a couple of age-related marks as you’d expect on a 17 year old caravan.
The motor mover makes manoeuvring it an absolute doddle.
The leisure battery works fine but I think it’s starting to not hold a charge so well. This is only evident in storage. If you remove it and keep it topped up at home, or fit a solar charger then you’ll be fine.
I started a new job and got a company car that wouldn’t quite tow it. We held on to the caravan in the hope we could choose a new company car that could tow it. However the replacement is a hybrid with zero towing capacity so it’s back to camping for us!
It has always been stored under a cover which is included but will probably need replacing.
Also included is an awning with a bedroom annexe, waste water and fresh water barrels, hook-up leads, toilet chemicals, wheel chocks & levelling ramps, gas bottles, towing mirrors, noseweight gauge; everything you need to hook up and head off.
