SWIFT CHALLENGER 440 SE (1997 Model) 4 BERTH CARAVAN (but can sleep many more!)As mentioned in the “condition” area on here this is a 25 year old model, but is in pretty good nick. It was top of the range in its day, having extra features to other Challengers such as double blinds (incorporating fly screens). No longer needed as my kids have grown up and are no longer interested in camping, and since COVID lockdown it’s barely been used. Would make a lovely starter van for someone, very much still towable (using the older 2 plug (black/grey) connections) or would make a great van to keep somewhere and visit at the weekends. Nice chintz decor, but it’s not too offensive and could easily be re-upholstered. Externally it’s in decent shape. Tried to keep it clean, it’s under a cover for most of the year. Tyres were replaced a few years ago. Updated Alko hitch lock and new jockey wheel. Has a front compartment for storage, gas bottles etc. On the side you will find the battery compartment (new in 2016) and motor mover switches. Normal water tank connections and Whale pump connections. The van has a Motor Mover installed, which is great- meaning you can move the van on its own just by the power of your thumb (my kids used to love doing this!). Probably worth about £500 on its own. On entering the van you have the bathroom/shower in front of you. Lock is broken, but probably easily fixable…
