Caravan info:
Swift Challanger 440/4E caravan. Sleeps 4 in 2 double beds. Has cold running water in bathroom and kitchen with working pump. 3 x working gas hobs and grill, gas heater and fridge – again, all working. Comes with sombrero cabriola awning which was bought much later and is in good overall condition with a few signs of ware and tare. Also comes with 2 x gas bottles (1 is 2/3 full), towing mirrors and stabaliser, water containers and portable toilet.
The good:
Almost everything still works! The electrics, lights, fridge, heater, pump.
The bed components and padding are all in one piece and are in a good state of repair.
The electrics, chassis and towing mechanism are serviceable and sound.
The bad:
The leisure battery won’t hold a charge and will need replacing if you intend to use without a mains hook up.
There is some slight water damage under the rear table where a window was left open – see pictures.
The veneer on the cabinets is coming away in a few places – a load of new roles of veneer material are included for those avid DIYers amongst you.
Please bear in mind that this is a 1987 model and shows its age…
