1992 Swift Silhouette 2 Berth CaravanPROJECT – NEEDS WORK – PLEASE READI got this caravan a year ago as a project and bit off more than I can chew, sadly deciding to sell on. The inside of the caravan is mostly gutted (see photos.) Main areas of work are: resealing and replacing battens, walls + some flooring (delamination + damp damage.)Unfortunately most of the battens need replaced or consolidated, you’ll also need new insulation and plywood for the walls. It’d make a great home office or occasional use on own land. If you want to tour / go on holiday, might need more work.This is a good project for someone with time / a covered area to work in. It’s doing okay right now, I have enjoyed spending some time in it in the state it’s in, but longer term resealing door, windows, and corners strongly advised. For the past year I have kept the van
dry and well looked after, including being under a beathable cover in
the winter, but it needs work, as the wood suffered a lot of damp
damage. It’s dry now, and has been for 9 months, needs resealed with mastic. It’s
not niagara falls in there, and it could do you for a few years as a man
cave, but it has some ingress which will ruin the van over the years if
