Hi, thanks for looking at this Swift Challenger 490/5 SE 5 berth touring caravan. ***Please note this is being sold as a project/spares/or repairs rather than a functioning caravan. Please read the description thoroughly***We bought this as a project and had such massive differences of opinion on what we should do with it and how, that I’ve decided to sell so we don’t end up divorced!*It’s a 5 berth with a bunk over the rear double bed. That end section does separate off into a bedroom. The sliding doors were removed by the previous owners but they’re still with the van.* It has a really spacious front seating area which turns into a sizeable bed. * It has blackout blinds and insect net blinds. Most do function and are present but please remember it’s a 1990 van. *Carver Cascade 2 hot water heater for caravans – untested. * Cramer hot plate and grill with grill pan – untested. * Carver trumatic heater, ducted hot air – untested. * Whale Supersub 88 Electric Pump – untested. *Thetford Cassette Porta Potti- untested. * Carver Crystal Water System – untested. * Electrolux Fridge – untested. The freezer box had been taped up by the previous owners and I haven’t investigated to find out why. * Dixon Smoke Alarm – untested. * leisure battery – untested. * AL-KOmatic chassis fitted with automatic reversing system. – untested. * Chassis and floor appear to be good but again untested. * Recently towed 20 miles. Tyres are inflated and remain inflated but it would be your decision whether to change tyres…
