VINTAGE SPRITE ALPINE CARAVAN
with full length awning
Welcome to our Sprite Caravan, we purchased this little
caravan 7 years ago as a project and was fully restored both inside and out;
she has no damp and is watertight. She tows fine and the chassis is in very
good condition considering her age. The treads on tyres are brand new, less
then 30 miles and the caravan comes with a spare tyre (although we hope you
never need this, also brand new). Towing
lights are working, and a new number plate holder was fitted – so already for
the road. We added a new gas hose and butane fitting to the exterior of the
caravan which is working. A gas bottle will come with the auction which
connects to the A frame of the caravan. The caravan leg winders are all fully functional
and the sale includes the winder bar. The caravan runs off a 12v leisure
battery (not included, but open too offers for a new one purchased last summer).
For added space there is a full-size awning for the caravan, the awning is
currently all zipped together in sack for easier install, this can be done by
feeding through the caravan exterior metal frame and extending the awning legs
and roof bars. Dimensions of caravan are
6ft 4inch wide x 12ft 4inches long, 15 ft including the A frame. She does have a few dings on her bodywork
which is to be expected on a caravan over 50 years old, they don’t affect her
use in anyway.
