Vintage Alpine Sprite Caravan. Approx age 1968. We have owned this caravan for the last 6 years and have taken her on lots of trips. She tows really well and is light (weighs approx 750kg). Two people can push her easily. Her tyres are in good condition. She was stripped out and renovated by the previous owners. Unfortunately, some of the sealant had failed, so not long after we bought her we had some water/damp issues in her corners. We have resealed these and since have had no more issues. You might want to replace a couple of panels in the corners, but she has been fine for us. She is a 4 birth caravan. The table removes and a panel fits in the gap for the cushions to sit on and she is surprisingly comfy. The long sofa converts into a double bed (narrow one). It is a bit tight for 4 people though! She has full electric lights and sockets for hook up. There is a small fridge which is big enough for a few basics. The original sink is intact and works with a foot pump. The gas cooker and grill is original – we haven’t used this. We prefer to bbq or use a portable gas hob outside. There are a few storage cupboards and drawers. The original toilet has become a clothes storage area with hanging rail and metal drawers. She is very pretty and we have used her at a few weddings for guests…
