Fully
restored vintage 1967 Sprite 400 caravan ?IRIS?
Small
lightweight 4 berth which includes a double bed at the back and bunk beds at
the front, complete with the original hammock style bunk which is stored in the
back rest over the seating.
All
seating has storage underneath with fully working hinges, and there is also a
tall cupboard (wardrobe). The kitchen
area has plenty of storage with cupboard above and original sliding doors,
there are cupboards under a small sink with drainer and a double gas hob with
grill (all working but not tested by an approved gas engineer) There is a
further wall cupboard at the back of the van with sliding doors.
We
have kept Iris as near to original as possible and the cupboards have been
repolished/repaired along with the table.
Everything
was taken out of the van during the restoration and the walls reboarded and
painted as near to original colour as possible and keeping the van light and
airy. The upholstery has been recovered
and the curtains which are fully lined were original ?60?s? curtains so in some
places show age related marks which I feel is in keeping with the vintage van.
The
flooring has been replaced with vinyl similar to what was originally in the van
and is fitted wall to wall before the furniture was put back in.
