Here is a Vintage Caravan in need of restoration please read the full advert and ask any questions.It is in South Scotland near Castle Douglas, Dumfries. Feel free to come and viewI recently towed it over 60 miles with no problems, its really light and stable.This sweet little caravan has got the original glass windows all round and has been stored in a barn for decades until 18 months ago it was parked outside and had the main seams taped to stop water leaking in.Unfortunately as you can see in the photos water has got in around the front and back main windows which has caused the board and some of the frame to rot. The bottom of the door has also suffered from a leak. These areas will need to be replaced and then it will be really solid little van.Also all the seams are likely to need resealing but because its been stored undercover most of its life its not your usual floppy rotten old caravan.The floor is solid and so is the ceiling and side walls as you can see in the pictures. The chassis at some time has been undersealed, its now showing surface rust but looks very solid.Originally this would have been a 4 berth caravan in only a 9ft3 by 6ft1 space.
