You are bidding on a 1959/1960 Sprite Alpine S, this a rare model, only made to special order, having 2/3 bunk beds, and was discontinued as an option after approximately six months, so survivors are few and far between.I have not owned this one long…. Having our bought from, yes, you guessed it…..EBay! Here’s the reason for selling.Once it was delivered, I realised it would need far far more work to the wood framing than I am capable of (please see the full (and honest!) description below……)The caravan is 12 ft length, (14ft with the tow hitch).GOOD POINTS:Very original, rare S model (made for six months only) 1959/60 with bunk beds.Gas lights with original shades.Original awning.New tyres less than 150 miles ago.Original speckled black lino floor covering.Tows, but needs a trailer board.NOT damp inside.Ceiling NOT bowed.Door key was originally missing, now replaced.Chassis very good.A frame very good.All original interior furniture.All alloy body panels straight, no dents.BAD POINTSThree corners of the floor are rotted outFrame uprights at corners are rotten.Frame in general up to bottom of window levels are suspect.Will need a full repaint.One…
