Hello and Welcome to my auction.Up for sale is our mid 1970s Sprite Alpine caravan. We purchased this caravan about 4 years ago to use for classic car events as it was the perfect weight for our MGB GT. When we purchased it there were no interior fixings, so we had to source these from caravan breakers in the UK. The storage areas are all standard but the cushions are all from various static vans we saw. As you can see from the images, it’s been done to the usual retro feel. She is sporting new brakes, wheel bearings and tyres to be sure the running gear is OK. She’s by no means perfect but it was always good for classic events it’s. Chassis is rock solid with no rot, floor is nice and solid and not spongy. Electric hookup has been installed as the original setup would not have had this. The gas lamps were removed well before our ownership. A couple of 240v sockets have been added plus 5v socket for phone charging etc. A battery will be included.She tows fantastic and we’ve used her behind the MGB to go all over the country with no issues. Bad points.She’s over 40 years old so isn’t perfect. Paint on the left side (outside) is peeling a littleThere is also a dent on the side, but it has not penetrated the skin. Door lock is stiff.
