Much-loved family treasure sadly for sale after years of faithful
service and fun.
The is a really lovely example of a British classic. Best estimate on age would be 1973. Admired and coveted wherever it goes.
Overall condition is good but it has recently started to
let a little bit of weather in which has led to some mould and staining as can
be seen and there is no damp or odour.
The chassis is in excellent condition and the van has
been recently towed. This is an unbraked
light-weight (580kg?) caravan. 7-pin
trailer plug. Indicators and brake
lights in good working condition.
Handbrake, jockey-wheel, break-away cable. Spare wheel and tyre. Corner-stay brace included.
The exterior seems completely original and is in good
overall condition commensurate with the age and regular use of the
caravan. There are a few dents and dings
as pictured. Windows are all in working
condition and complete with latches and working click-and-hold tumbler stays. Window seals are old but still seem waterproof. The caravan comes with an awning and all poles
although some locking devices are missing/ need repair. One external fixing eye on the van is broken
but none of this affects the functioning of the awning which itself is in
excellent overall condition and all zips work etc and there are no rips or
holes in the fabric.
The interior has been re-fitted in a fairly rudimentary “home-made”
way as can be seen from the pictures.
Bunk-beds: top bunk has a fixed safety rail, storage under the lower
bed. …
