1977 Sprite Ariel. Renovated 9 years ago and we have had many happy holidays in her but Hattie as been stood for about 3 years and we feel it would be best if she could be used again, either for more holidays or as a garden room. She needs a bit of attention as there has been a small bit of water ingress at the front (see photo) where the handle is loose and the window trim needs replacing (can be provided). The exterior paint could do with a touch-up or re-do. However she is still a good solid little van and comes with lots of extras including canopy, retro deckchairs, a complete original Sirram picnic set, tablecloth, orange sheepskin, blankets, gas bottle and more. We also have the original hammock bunk bed if you wanted to make it a 4 berth. Cooker, sink, lights all work but are untested. Could probably do with two new tyres as she’s been standing and the hand brake needs attention. There are no interior lights or electrics, we always used camping lights and an electric hook up power lead. The rooflight is cracked but patched up and doesn’t leak. There was a small previous external perforation at the front (less than 10cm) but it is patched and has held. For nearly fifty years old she is actually in really good condition. She needs a bit of tlc but is a really lovely, rare van. Available for viewing prior to auction ending…
