1969 Sprite Colt Caravan (similar to Sprite 400)
This was originally a small 4 berth caravan, owned by our
family since 1976.
It was completely stripped out inside some years ago ready
for a project which never happened.
As you can see from the photos it is stripped down to the
frame and aluminium outer skin which is watertight. Some very slight exterior damage marks but no
breaks to the outer skin. The floor is solid and the windows open. The door lock works and there are two keys. The original grill/hob and table are with it.
Assume vehicle electrics not working and tyres old and
cracked so would advise not to tow, although it is freely moveable. Jockey wheel and handbrake work as do rear
levelling jacks. There is welded repair
to the A Frame.
Exterior paint very worn but repainting would transform it.
Although very tired looking this is a sound little caravan
shell which is ready for someone to take on as a project – maybe to use as a
garden room or if very ambitious to completely renovate as a caravan.
