We are selling Tilly, our lovely 1976 Sprite Alpine C. She is lightweight – 570kg and fully laden at 762kg makes her towable by a Fiesta or Polo sized car! Having the best family layout with a central kitchen opposite a wardrobe and toilet (porta-potty) and a dinette at each end which convert into a double and bunks, sleeping 2 adults and 2 smallish children comfortably!When we purchased her in 2011, we repainted internally, rewired and I ran new rubber gas hose all the way from the gas locker to the hob (gas and electrics should of course be checked before use by a suitably qualified professional). We fitted brand new foam cushions and upholstered them in red with white polka dot zip on covers, we made new Cath Kidston style blackout lined curtains and fitted a black and white checked lino tile floor. Her chassis was de-rusted, treated and repainted and her brakes overhauled with new brake shoes, breakaway cable and tyres fitted. She has a 2 ring hob with grill and a sink with drainer and an electric fridge with freezer compartment. there is a huge amount of storage space with 5 overhead lockers, hanging+shelf+shoe storage in the wardrobe and large under-bunk lockers.
