Reluctantly I am advertising my lovely fully restored little Sprite Ariel 4 berth touring caravan..I have been informed that this model was only made for 2 years, mine was made in 1976..The caravan is very light weighing in at only 480kg and has a gross laden weight of 670kg. it is a very very easy light towing caravan and is so easy to maneuver by hand ..When I bought the caravan she was looking very tired, paint had faded on the outside and the interior was a little scruffy..I only intended to give her a spruce up and use her, but one thing led to another and although she was dry I could see there had been some water ingress at the front of the caravan and I was not too sure if she had been sealed properly or to where it had got in, so after doing further inspections I decided to bite the bullet and do a proper job and fully restore her regardless of costs ..At the front lower corners of the van some of the interior frame work had rotted, so that was replace along with the interior front hardboard panel..All the guttering/awning rails were removed and cleaned and re-bedded with the best quality bedding sealant I could purchase, replacing all 100 screws and fitting new black plastic infill strip to finish the job off..The front fixed window needed to be removed due to a new hardboard panel being…
