1977 CI Sprite 400 CARAVANI rescued this from the original owner’s garden 2 years ago, it’s a very original caravan. Chassis and floor is sound, it tows well with functional brakes (has been standing since late last summer but I have no reason to doubt it will still tow fine). It has functional 12V lighting (if you attach your own battery) and it has a 3 way fridge, double burner and grill, and a gas lamp which will all run off propane or butane. I haven’t tested the water pump to the sink. It has a porta potti included.When I got it I serviced the brakes and hitch and made welded repairs to the A frame so it is now structurally very sound.Max loaded weight 735KG so it can be towed by almost anything.I have used it for summer breaks for the last two years, unfortunately this winter it has leaked on the rear roof seam and through the front window seal (see pictures) and as I’ve just bought a motorhome of a similar vintage I’d like to move the Sprite on to a good home.With that in mind, consider it a decent base to a project you can make your own.
