Sadly now in deed of restoration, I just don’t have the time. I think it’s a Sprite S-Line. The chassis and aluminium skin are sound, and apart from the front window being broken (it’s surprisingly only plate glass and therefore easy to replace), importantly, it’s water tight. The wooden gas bottle holder that’s mounted above the towbar is exposed and is deteriorating. It’s got a gas powered light, one electric light, and one plug socket internally, these would be very easy to replace/sort, as would the restoration generally. Inside, it’s cosmetically in pretty good nick, just needing a good clean. It hasn’t moved in at least two and a half years so don’t know whether it will roll – I don’t have a towbar to test it. I sadly don’t have the time to restore it (I wish I did), so must let it go, it’s a shame because it’s a lovely old thing. Viewers really do need to come and see it to appreciate it.
