This is our much loved Rapido caravan, which we have had for
six years, but we no longer use it enough, so it is reluctantly for sale, This
is a compact lightweight caravan, it has a maximum weight of 650kg, so can be
towed by virtually any car. Because of its size and low centre of gravity it
can be towed without the need for extension mirrors or stabiliser, if you could
not see it in the mirror you could forget it was there. Because of its compact
size and pop-up roof, it is very convenient for storage, fitting under carports
or garages where a normal caravan would not go. At 1.98 metres it is lower than
the popular Eriba caravans, and has a proper pop-up section with windows, not
flimsy canvas. It has its own bathroom, with ingenious 2-way folding doors,
which free up space when the bathroom is not in use. We removed the basin from here
as the adjoining galley is easier to use.
This caravan does not have all singing all dancing mod cons
like larger, more expensive vans, but its hook up and go convenience makes it
ideal for holidays, short breaks, shows and exhibitions etc., combining the
ease of camping with the comfort of a caravan. The caravan comes fully equipped
and ready to use.
