Here we have one very unusual beauty indeed! A Beglian, Constructam Coral 1 Caravan which has been much loved by my family and I, but with the moving of House and an increasingly larger lack of time to finish her, it’s best that this really gets passed on to someone who can spend the time to get it back on the road for a fresh lease of life.As you can see it’s one very Retro/Vintage piece of history with the rounded front end and windows, the one piece Fibreglass top and the lower Aluminium skin which we always fancied polishing up to add some seasoning of Americana! The one piece Fibreglass top/roof was actually one of our initial attractions (apart from the stunning visuals) to the Constructam as it gave a leak free design feature which we’d usually struggle so much with here in damp UK, with older Caravans. It’s also metal framed and has a galvanised chassis.It may be clear to the sharper eyed of you folk, but the windows are doubled glazed (very unusual for Caravan of this age) although one is cracked.The potential for this project is certainly blindingly visible, whether it’s a your new form of Retro Camping, Food or Catering Stand for shows… an extreme garden display feature, maybe (why not?).
