1985 Eriba Pan caravanBehold! Edwin the tiny caravan! I bought Edwin back in 2016, as my first foray into caravanning, having been a long time tent camper and now wanting something more comfortable. We’ve had some great adventures together, at 750kg he’s easy to tow with most modern cars and comfortable even for those 6 foot plus, given the large bed space. He’s as clean as I could get him before my shoulder and knees gave up. If you still have working joints, you could get him absolutely sparkling. His good bits:All known leaks were sealed back in 2016, these included a leak under the trim at the back, and around the heater flue (which I replaced with a new part and has been perfectly dry ever since)I installed a new 240v power strip, and replaced spotlight cabling. The original dual-pole breaker is still in place, and the power strip is fitted with a 5A fuse. Although I am competent and have experience of restoring vintage electronics, you should get my worked checked by a qualified person.Trim around the door was replaced, and I re-fitted the missing trim to the edge of the pop-up roof. Chassis was professionally serviced in 2020, and new tyres fitted at the same time. 12v system is powered from a mains transformer. Sink pump is working.Stereo radio cassette is fitted and working well! Gas hob works well.Pop top and canvas is in good condition.Fridge works on 240v.Seat cushions and fabric are in good condition.There is…
