Typhoon Elddis XL, 4 berth touring caravan. Measures 6.5×2.2MA KIND WORD, PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS CARAVAN IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO BUY ITWe bought this caravan and realised it had damp and so literally stripped it back, removing all the front end of the van and damp proofing it. We have not noticed any damp since doing this work, it has been used and exposed to the elements and is always kept with a cover over it whilst in storage.We replaced window seals, painted the inside, Spray painted the doors cream apart from the sink and cooker area – didn’t get around to this.We took the kids convertible beds/dining area out also and replaced with fixed beds – the kids have loved this. Eating outside for us was more important.The hob does not work and the gas pipe work would need reinstating.We intended to buy a sofa bed for the main seating area but didn’t get around to this, (intending to give us space and a different feel to the caravan than your traditional layout). My husband and I have been using a blow up double bed which was actually really cosy! G
