Currently located in the South of France in storage, near St Tropez. The storage owner brings the caravan out of storage to the campsite you book onto and sets everything up for you, including the awning. This is usually done before you arrive, so everything is sorted before you arrive. Fridge freezer hire is about €60 per week, pitch fees are roughly €30 per night. Storage fees are circa €500 per year. Because the caravan is already down there, no need to drive all the way day there. You can easily fly to Nice and get the coach up to the campsite. If you do want to drive and you’ve never done it before, bank on a 1 to 2 day drive and roughly £500 expenses each way to get there. That would include diesel, channel crossing and Motorway Tolls. The caravan is an old van, 1995 or 1996. It’s a special addition for Elddis 30th anniversary. It does have DIY jobs that need doing to it but it perfectly habitable with the French Mediterranean climate suiting it quite well. If it were back in the UK it would no doubt be troubled by damp.
