Here we have our beloved Elddis Pamperos XL CaravanWe have just got back from a short break in our caravan and decided it’s time for an upgrade. We bought this as first time caravaners to see if we liked caravaning. We’ve used it 4 times in the last 2 years and have loved every minute.It’s from approx 1991-1993 so a fairly old van and is in good condition for its age with expected age related knocks/wear etcThe weight of the can is a light 987kg so most bigger cars can pull it, we used a Kia sportage at first. We modernised it a little by replacing the curtains which are homemade. We tarted up the doors and kitchen area and replaced the carpet with lino. Also used throws and cushions on the chairs. 5 people can sleep confortably (as we all did). There’s 2 seating areas at the front and back of the van that turn into double beds and then a single bunk.It has a working fridge with small freezer box inside. Working toilet. Sony radio/CD player. The electrics work and all lights working. Wheels/tyres are fine, hand break fine and tows absolutely fine! We’ve never had the water working and there is no water heater. We’ve never tried the cooker or hob and the heater so not sure if they work?Some of the window struts need replacing and there is a crack on the inner window at the back of caravan but no water leaks inside. Lastly… In the front corner…
