Not so good bits
The 2 front side window frame seals have started to fail
under extreme conditions, we only noticed this on our final trip out before
selling. This only happened on a cliff top pitch with 40+ mph sideways rain, drops/drips appeared on the blinds both sides so I’m assuming the outer
window seals need re siliconing. The van
has no damp and smells cosy and warm.
The built in heater works on mains, but on gas it “ticks”
away whilst alight. This is a small
sensor failed that thinks the gas has gone out and is trying to relight
it. The small oil filled radiator that is included in the sale works better.
There is some delamination in the bathroom under the
counter top. This was caused by a box of
toothbrushes etc sliding and dinking the tap connector under the sink causing a leak. This is now fixed and its all
dry.
One of the four moving handles outside will come loose one
side if you pull too hard (we just use the others).
The outside light doesn’t work (its not the bulb)
We disconnect the leisure battery when the van is stood at
home as we had to buy a new one this year and not sure why. This entailed a new 85ah
leisure battery fitted in July this year (1st time out after
lockdown).
We have had the van for four years now.

Tows well – we have done lots of trips in it.
