Elddis shamal xl 4 berth touring caravan.This van is based in Polzeath Cornwall.not Exeter.It’s currently on a pitch on a site.i have known this van and it’s 2 owners for 6 years.my friend bought it in Somerset 6 years ago,as their first family van.he then upgraded and sold it to another family on the site.its a good little van,and ideal for a starter van.its got a big bed at the front,and a single at the rear with a bunk above.toilet,sink etc in the bathroom.its got a hob and grill,but no oven.they used a microwave,or bbq!!!!When the van was packed away last year all the electrics and gas was working,and the water was also working.I have been down to the site this week and cleaned the outside and inside,and it’s looking quite good.bear in mind this van is approx 25 years old,so does have some knocks and bumps!but no external damageIt has had some damp years ago,through the external light at the front,this was taken off and silicone,and that cured the issue,so it is dry inside,but has left a small bit of damage inside,but nothing serious.Both the battery box cover and front cover,are broken….easy fix,new hinges required,or a lock.The floor was also spongy 6 years ago,but again this was injected and cured the issue.it is not spongy anymore,and is a common issue and common cure.The double bed uses 3 pieces of wood as the base instead of the pull out slats,again,not really an issue as works perfectly.just being honest.It comes with…
