Due to a timewaster, we are relisting Holly, our Elddis Hurricane GTX caravan, originally registered in 1992. She was only used a couple of times last year so it’s time for her to go. She is currently stored in a secure, outdoor location near Hastings, so we will need to contact the storage site owners to arrange access/releasing her. She sat there for most of last year but cleaned up well last weekend, as shown in the first photo. The locker door came adrift following our final summer trip in 2017 and we subsequently found damp. I don’t have the space or the skill to do the work, so we’re selling her as a project. The steel panel that holds the locker hinge mechanism came away because the windowsill had rotted underneath with the damp. The locker door is in place but would probably need holding on with gaffa tape (or putting in the towing vehicle) before the caravan is moved.Despite the damp, we are not aware of any musty smell inside, although the floor is springy.
