Cyclone GTX – Spares or Repair
This
would make a great winter project for someone but there is a lot of work to do. There is evidence of old repairs, and new damp
that needs to be resealed and repaired in a number of areas. The front
end needs particular attention, where the wood has gone damp owing to water
ingress (as well as the window sill misalignment beneath the windows). I suspect the wooden supports need to be
replaced and the leak sealed.
The
specification includes a water heater, gas fire, fridge, shower, cassette
toilet, cooker (outer oven door cover is missing), however these need to be
tested by the new purchaser as I am not sure if they work since it was last
used in 2020.
It
is a really comfortable caravan, with a seating area to the front which
converts to a very large double bed, as well as a seating area at the back
which was modified by the previous owner to take a small double mattress (bunk
bed housing removed and some wood trim). The original rear seat cushions come
with the caravan and make a small double bed.
Other
points to note:
New water pump,
new handbrake fitted and running gear serviced in 2020.
Recently replaced
the left rear light, but only one of the bolts fitted securely…
