For sale here is my Elddis Avante 540 tourer with fixed end bed. It’s an ideal bargain first purchase for anyone needing a van to live in, or work from, as it has the fixed bed and separate (good sized) shower and separate toilet room with wash basin and under-sink storage. Add to this, plenty of storage under the seats and in overhead cupboards, plus a huge under-bed storage area and decent wardrobe size, and it all adds up to a very usable package.I bought it new for living out of whenever I am on assignment, so it’s been in pretty much permanent use since new. This does not mean it has been abused, as you can see from the photo’s that it isn’t a damp, leaking wreck. As my assignments tend to be long ones, it has spent the majority of it’s time on seasonal type pitches, so mileage hasn’t been high either.There are no leaks or damp patches and I’m sure it’ll be good for a few more years use still. I’m only selling because I have now purchased a newer one, and I’ll be very sorry to see it go.The fixed end bed is a FULL SIZE standard mattress, as seen in the pics, which means that any standard mattress can be used, and the one included in the sale is memory foam and is super comfy.Of course, at this price point there are going to be compromises, so lets get those out of the way, the below…
