We have owned this caravan for 14 years, and have maintained and improved it meticulously. However, my wife and I are in our eighties, but sadly it’s time for us to give up caravanning.
The van is CRIS registered with 1 previous owner.
I have a comprehensive file with original instruction
manuals and receipts for things done to the caravan since new. The most recent are –
A complete chassis service including new brake shoes in 2021,
since when it has only covered 1200 miles.New tyres 2022.New stabiliser friction pads 2023.
To improve comfort, the original seats have been replaced with 4 inches of reflex
foam plus 2 inches of memory foam, without the uncomfortable ‘knee roll’, and covered
with Laura Ashley fabric. I still have the original seats in storage that can
be given to the purchaser if required.
The front chest of drawers has been removed to allow a huge longitudinal
double bed to be made up (bigger than a King Size!). The original chest is in
storage and is available.
The cover that used to go over the sink and drainer is also available. The plastic wheel covers shown were a nuisance and have just been scrapped.
Although the van has an extensive specification, it is light, unladen 1000 kg, with an MTPLM of 1200 kg.
It comes with a StarCamp Quatro Porch Awning with aluminium
poles (like the Dorema 275), size 275 x 200 cm – providing plenty of room for a
table and 2 chairs and…
