This Elddis Force/4 caravan (believed to date from before 2000) was bought by us second-hand several years ago as a starter caravan and has served us well, but we have managed to use it only once or twice a year. As I am now retired, I have more time to make use of a caravan, so have decided to upgrade to a newer model. It is a lightweight caravan and easy to tow. All the internal and external lights work, as does the water pump. The caravan comes with a roller-type water tank and a new water filter (to be fitted), but the external waste-collection tank is not included in the sale. The front seating area converts to a double bed, as does the bench at the rear (which can be sectioned off at night with the fitted curtain). It has a Carver water heater (a partially-full gas bottle included in sale) and a Thetford cassette toilet. The gas hob and grill work fine (we have never used the oven). There is also a radio with an Aux port, allowing music from a phone etc to be played through the built-in speakers. Now the negative points (this is an old caravan!), about which I wish to be fully transparent:1. The fridge has never really worked properly. It could be replaced, but we have always used an electric cool box, which we have put in the car at night (using an extension cable from the caravan).2. As we have never been away…
