It comes with a universal porch awning that was brand new when we bought the van, and we have only put that up twice.If you have been looking at second hand vans, you will find lots full of damp or leaks, even though the sellers will say they are not… this is not one of ‘those’ vans. This is a fundamentally dry van. It had suffered (before I bought it) from a small leak around the nearside front window frame, which had damaged a small area of the very thin internal surface plywood (photo attached). The water had gone no further. I removed the entire window seal, cleaned and dried the wooden frame, varnished the wood in that area (which was good and solid), then refitted the seal using proper caravan sealant all around. This was five years ago, and it hasn’t leaked since. We have always stored the van with a proper caravan-cover over it. That cover is now pretty worn-out, and has the odd tear, but it will be supplied with the van.This van is not mint/perfect, so don’t imagine or expect it to be. …
