For sale is our recently refurbished 1980’s Elddis Tornado caravan. It was converted from a 4 birth to a 3 birth due to not having a mattress for the bunk bed and it wasn’t of any use to us. Ideally it’s perfect for a 2 birth starter caravan but would sleep 3 comfortably. It’s in very good condition and is showing no signs of rot/damp anywhere. The floor was a little spongy when we bought it so for peace of mind I repaired this myself (anyone who’s done it, knows how big of a job this is) so now the floor is solid. The 12v leisure battery was removed and had a 12v transformer fitted (I don’t know why as it was like this before we bought it but if we were to keep it we would have refitted a leisure battery). All electrics/water/gas works and all appliances etc work as they should.With it being a 1980’s caravan it is very well built and very sturdy but benefits from being very light so is easy to tow and can be towed by most smaller cars. It only weighs around 900kg. This model of Elddis seams to be very rare with us only seeing one other one on eBay since owning this one. You could own a piece of history with a modern touch on it. Everyone who sees it comments on how much they love the retro caravan look.Work done…
