This is an Eccles ” Coronation ” 3 berth, one double and one single which I believe is the mk 11 version, made in either late 1953 or early 1954.I purchased it in 2014 when it had just been restored to it’s present state. It could do with a slight tidy up paint wise, as I have tried to show in the last two pictures, but in reality, it is in very good condition for a 65 year old caravan and anyone bidding should not be expecting a pristine van. It gets a lot of attention where ever it goes and is extremely rare, speaking with caravan enthusiasts with greater knowledge than myself who have never seen one like this before. It has been covertly fitted with mains hook up, a fridge and a double socket, not having these originally, the fridge works off either gas or the hook up. It has a period gas light and a small strip light that run off a small mobility scooter battery. Twin hob and grill that work off gas, a sink with a cupboard above and below, opposite a wardrobe with one shelf, hanging rail, several hooks and exterior mirror. It has good storage space under the front seats which converts to the single bed and also under the two rear seats with a dining table in between, the two rear seats converting to the double bed.
