Hello and welcome to the auction for our lovely little Eccles Nymphette.We bought this caravan with the intention of turning it into a mobile craft shop for my wife’s craft business. Since buying it and starting work, our circumstances have changed. Even with the caravan completed, she simply will not have time to tow it around all the events as initially intended.1959 Eccles Nymphette.Interior dimentions: 10ft x 6ft x 6ft.exterior dimenions: 12ft x 6’6″ x 8ft. (inc a frame.)Complete restoration required. Ceiling has been stripped off to investigate leak. Sky light is leaking and will need replacing (or covering over completely with a sheet of aluminium as i intended to do. (aluminium included)).interior needs ripping out and starting again. exterior needs painting and some overlapping sheets riveting back together.glass in door needs replacing. I have most of the old piece to use as a template.Most of the interior has been removed but the kitchenette still remains. This includes the original sink and ‘dandy’ 2 gas burner with grill all housed in original cabinet. When we bought it, it was in a garden with a tree growing through the A frame. Three of the windows were broken and it was full of rubbish. The wheels were rotten and it hadn’t been moved since the early 1980’s. I fitted 2 new wheels and tyres, greased the hubs/bearings and the tow hitch just to bring it home. It towed fine.Since then,…
