Please read the following in fullHere we have our Sterling Eccles Ruby caravan, which was our lockdown purchase in the summer of 2020.Shortly after purchase we had an issue with a faulty leisure battery and the resulting damage left the caravan a cat D write off, which means uneconomical to repair using new genuine parts, however, the damage was relatively minor and we retained the caravan and had it repaired, albeit not with original parts. As a result the van is no longer CRIS registered, however, it could be reregistered with a suitable engineers report (and any work recommended from same carried out). We have been able to get the caravan insured, however, as a Cat D this is a bigger challenge than otherwise. The caravan was last serviced in 2021.Since then we have enjoyed numerous holidays around England in the van and last summer on starting a new job in Devon, our daughter “lived” in the van for two months at three different sites and enjoyed the whole experience.The (inflatable) awning shown in one of the pictures is not included in the sale but is available by separate negotiation.You will see from the pictures that the van is missing the original settee cushions on the nearside and that we have obtained alternative settee cushion which are a reasonably good fit. All cushions shown are included in the sale. The caravan is fitted with a hitch lock and a wheel clamp which are included as are the various hogs, cables…
