In 1928 every Scout in the UK donated one penny to buy Lord Baden Powell (the founder of the Scout movement) a 21st Anniversary present in thanks. Enough was raised that he received an Eccles caravan and a Rolls Royce motor car, and a pair of braces. The original can be viewed at the Scout Headquarters, Gilwell Park, North London.Here is a modern copy, built from fully insulated composite sheet with timber doors and windows. Dimensions approximately 4.2m x 2.1m. It is on a galvanised steel chassis and can be towed across a field or onto a trailer. It is not road legal. There is a sofa which converts to a full size double bed, with storage under, at the end and two small bunks (1500x 600) which fold away. All mattresses are included. It would be perfect for glamping or as extra space in a garden. It is wired for 12V lighting. There is a 16 drawer chest included. The unit by the door is big enough to provide hanging space as well as storage for a folding table and chairs.Loss of site forces sale.
