For sale is our 1983
Eccles Amethyst Caravan.
Has lots of water
damage throughout and will need resealing and re-panelling to make it
usable for camping. It will require a new front window and as you can
see for yourself, requires quite a bit of work.
The rear double bed
is quite obviously installed by ourselves. There is acres of space
underneath where the spare wheel and fridge live. The fridge works on
electric but not gas (which has been completely disconnected).
All of the
electrics/lights work and the kitchen is quite tidy, although the
drawers need some attention.
There is an awning
which can test the limits of a relationship to erect but does create
a lovely space when up.
The kids are never
going to forgive us for selling this as we’ve lugged this about on
many a splendid camping trip but they don’t have to fix it, I do and
I hate getting it in and out of the drive.
Failing restoration,
it could be a handy converted to a trailer, or a chicken sanctuary
etc…
