Eccles Ametyst Caravan, 5 berth, I’ve owned and used it for around 3 years. new tyres and electrics serviced when I bought it. Brakes, hitch etc work well and chassis seems good. The body is pretty tired.Good bits: Cassette toilet, gas water heater and gas oven/hob all work well as does the 240v/12v electrics. It tows well and I’ve been up and down the country in it. Shower works and so does fridge (but I’ve only used that on 240v hook-up). All cushions, bunks etc are there and floors seem sturdyBad bits: Old water damage above the toilet room. I sealed this up so it no longer has damp, but the evidence of old damp is there. The body is very tired and has extra bolts added to tie it all in to the bulkheads/uprights. Fridge gas was disconnected when I got it, and I have only used it on 240v. Shelves are missing in the fridge, I’ve never used the gas heater. It is old, used, and don’t be expecting tip-top condition! Lots of knocks, scratches etc. If in doubt come and view before bidding. If you bid blind, you still bid to win!I’m putting it up for auction as spares/repair/festival use, or maybe you could use it as a donor for the chassis, or the appliances etc for something else.
