auction for a 1998 Sterling Eccles Sapphire 5 berth touring caravan. It
is a good family layout but also offers the option of being able to
leave up the rear double as though it was a fixed bed layout. It
has been well maintained having recently had 2 New Tyres fitted, been
tested for Gas Tightness (certificate available) It has 2 parallel settees in the front
that can either be used as 2 single beds or made up into a large double.
The Washroom and Kitchen are in the middle of the van opposite one
another and at the back of the van is an ‘L’ shaped sofa that converts
into another double with a single bunk above. The kitchen has a full size oven and fridge fitted. There is hot and cold water available. It is double glazed and fitted with black out blinds at some of the windows. Externally
and internally the caravan is clean and tidy and in good condition
apart from the points mentioned below. It is perfectly usable as it is
but inevitably at this age it has unfortunately started to suffer with
damp. This is most obvious in the panels on the side of the caravan at
the right side of the side windows nearest the front. There is also some
in the back of the caravan. I am advised it is most likely caused by
the awning rails needing to…
