by auction is a Vintage Compass 2 berth touring caravan, it is a cute little
thing in really good order. The chassis is solid as is the a frame.
The brakes are working fine including the handbrake, It has new tyres
and tows great, Being lightweight it is very easy to use and can be
towed by most cars.
The large
seating area to the front converts into a double bed, the cushions
are clean, comfy and in good condition. The two small bolster
cushions to the front are a bit thread bare underneath but this
doesn’t notice when in place. There is a chest of drawers to the
front with a retro tiled insert. It comes with a large removable
table that attaches to it this stores away securely in the washroom
when not in use.
It has a
great retro kitchen to the rear with a bi folding cover this wipe
clean surface is really useful when not in use. When in use it is
held in place by a catch allowing full use of the utilities below inc
a gas hob & grill, sink with drainer it also has a gas fridge,
again this is all in really good condition. The gas hasn’t been
tested but it is working. The hob burners are original corroded in
places and a bit temperamental for prolonged use they would benefit from
replacement.
The
original fittings cupboards, benches, chest of drawers, dresser
etc…… are all in really good clean condition.
