I am selling a 1986 Compass Echo 340/2 for a relative. It is in good condition for its age and is a 2 berth caravan however could fit 2 adults and a small child. It is very light weight, only 500kgs (max laden weight is 850kgs) This van was bought 2 years ago and at the time needed a few jobs of minor, cosmetic work carried out which have almost been completed, the caravan is now ready to go with only a couple of minor jobs needing finished off. Due to lack of storage space we are now reluctantly having to sell. It has the original manual and service history and the last full service was done in Nov. 2014. when we bought it in 2016 it had unfortunately had a couple of scrapes to the sides of the van whilst being reversed. They had been repaired/filled in but were quite noticeable. We refilled, sealed and repainted the van. We managed to source a 2nd identical van and so recovered some parts which were in better condition to use on this van. Two windows were changed but the window ‘stays’ need re fixing. (I can provide more photos) A small amount of water leaked in during the changing of the front window. It is completely dry now and has been sealed with Sikaflex.
