This is our 1991 Coachman 390/2, 2 berth caravan, which we
have owned since 2014.
Its compact size enables it to be a great introduction
to caravanning, enabling ease of towing, maneuvering and storing on the
drive. We bought it as a starter van to see whether we liked caravans, but liked it so much, we never changed it.
It is in pretty original condition,
with some parts having been replaced due to wear and tear. It now has a new shower base for example
along with new carpet and kitchen floor covering. We have also replaced the
tyres and battery, but these are now a few years old.
The oven, hob, gas fire,
water heater and fridge are all fully operational as are the lights (see
photos). The shower works and is very effective and hot. The interior soft
furnishings are all original. It is a sweet little thing that has been looked
after and provided a lot of pleasure over the years.
Bear in mind that is is over 30 years old, so it is not immaculate, but tidy and presentable. There is some damp at the front right hand
side, which has appeared over the Winter, and appears to have been caused by the sealant not being replaced and
because it has dried out, it has allowed moisture in, again please see the
